Student workforce main topic at LABI lunch

Preparing today’s students to join Louisiana’s growing workforce was a hot topic at Tuesday’s Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) luncheon.

Parish officials and business leaders gathered at the Zigler Art Museum to meet with LABI President Steven Waguespack, who said that thousands of skilled workers are needed to complete billions of dollars worth of projects taking place in, and coming to, Louisiana.
