Sheriff’s Office

Eight people were reported as booked into the parish jail by the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office over the past week.

 

Monday, October 28

Devan Wayne Castille was charged with distribution of a Schedule II narcotic. Bond was set at $40,000.

 

Brandon J. Fontenot was charged with battery of a police officer, resisting an officer and driving while intoxicated. Bond was set at $15,000.

 

Tuesday, October 29

Luke S. Freeman was charged with purse snatching, simple battery, possession of cocaine and introducing contraband in a jail. Bond was set at $75,000.

 

Chad Garrett Lafleur was charged with simple battery of the infirm. Bond was set at $20,000.

 

Jerry Jerome Lamb was charged with theft of goods. Bond was set at $40,000.

 

Wednesday, October 30

Daniel Lawayne LaFleur was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and child abuse. Bond was set at $40,000.

 

Jordan Jorell Provost was charged with possession of a Schedule I narcotic and possession of a Schedule IV narcotic.

 

Thursday, October 31

Mason J. John was charged with aggravated incest. No bond was listed.

 

 

City Police

Nine people were reported as booked into the City Jail by the Jennings Police Department over the past week.

 

Friday, October 25

Shannon Davis, 40, of East Madison Street in Jennings, was charged with simple battery. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Saturday, October 26

Leonard McClelland, Jr., 38, of East Park Street in Jennings, was charged with criminal trespass and theft of goods.

 

Clifton Martin Deshazo, 39, of Zigler Drive in Jennings, was charged with domestic abuse battery.

 

Tammy Dauzat James, 46, of Zigler Drive in Jennings was charged with domestic abuse battery.

 

Brooke Noel Touchet, 18, of Royal Drive in Jennings, was charged with theft of goods. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Sunday, October 27

Delores Marie Mauck, 51, of Riverburnt Drive in Iota, was charged with criminal trespass and theft of goods.

 

Wednesday, October 30

Kip Seagraves, 51, of Florence Street in Jennings, was charged with simple battery and theft. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Terri Manuel, 19, of South Lake Arthur Avenue in Jennings, was charged with theft of goods. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Darlene Marie Nelson, 50, of Davis Street in Jennings, was charged with simple battery. Subject was issued a summons.
