Reader Discusses Landrieu

Two weeks ago I submitted to the local paper correspondence between Senator Landrieu and myself in which I had suggested to her that she join other politicians who wanted to delay the implementation of “Obamacare” because of obvious flaws that needed severe repair or rethinking; this would have prevented the government shutdown, and remedied a severe problem. Her reply to me suggested that I was ill informed, and proceeded to expound on all the benefits to all Americans, and especially her constituents in La., in the health plan, and that she would under no circumstance join the group calling for a delay in implementation.

My response to her was rather blunt and the probable reason the paper chose not to publish what I sent in to them.

I submit to you that our Senator Landrieu, along with other hypocrites, who would rather have the government shutdown than to disobey their master, now have an election to think about. For some strange reason all the things I suggested to her 6-8 weeks ago, and according to her were not good for her constituency, have become very important and the correct thing to do. A law passes without one Republican vote, and modified 19 times by executive order from the President to keep his big donors satisfied must be looked at very carefully before crucifying all Americans with its final effects. I am happy that Sen. Landrieu’s upcoming election has influenced her correct decision, since her intellect was not able to accomplish the same result.

Please remember how she makes her decisions in Washington, which concern all of you, when her election comes up in Nov. 2014.
