Vie Terre Beau Bridge could re-open in 2014

A local bridge that has been closed since January’s heavy flooding should be repaired and reopened next year.

The Vie Terre Beau Bridge sits over Bayou Nezpique between Theo Road in Panchoville in Jeff Davis and Vie Terre Beau Road in the Tee Mamou area in Acadia. It was closed in January after suffering damage during floods that affected roads, homes and vehicles across portions of south Louisiana.
