Baby, It’s Cold Outside

When icy weather hit the area Friday, Graham the Dog layered up to stay warm in the unusually cold temps. Graham is the “son” of Matt Edalgo of Evangeline. Meanwhile, Tuff the Yorky, owned by Bernadette Lewis-Murphy of Andrus Cove, was excited about his first experience with snow and ice, as long as it was in small doses.

As locals prepare for another winter blast tomorrow, Tuesday, Animal Relief Foundation reminds residents to prepare their animals, too. Those who can are encouraged to bring their pets inside or make sure they have a warm place to hide from the snow and sleet. Also, pets need plenty of water, and pet owners should make sure their drinking water doesn’t freeze, as animals actually require more water in colder temperatures.
