Nicholas Ryan Broussard
LAKE ARTHUR – A Mass of Christian burial for Nicholas Ryan Broussard, 24, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Funeral home visitation will be from at 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. today, Thursday, and will resume at 8 a.m. Friday until the time of services.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Broussard died at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, in Pittsburg, Pa.
Mr. Broussard was lifelong resident of Lafayette and a graduate of Comeaux High School Class of 2007. He was an inspector in the oil industry. He enjoyed boxing and hunting. He loved the beach, his cars and his dog “Drow”. He enjoyed his job and was dedicated to it.
Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Broussard of Lafayette; his father, Terry Comeaux and stepmother, Jessie, of Cankton; his maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Ida Broussard of Lake Arthur; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Annie Comeaux of Cankton; aunts and uncles, Judy and Gerald, Mac and Jolinda, Ricky and Rachael, Craig and Annette and Al and Dawn; and many, many cousins.
Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his uncles, Mark Broussard and Tony Comeaux.
