Shannon Dale Corbello
The family and friends of Shannon Dale Corbello are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Jan. 13, 2014, at the age of 39.
A Mass of Christian burial to honor Shannon’s life will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Father Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will follow in Gary Memorial Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings today, Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. The family requests visitation to resume on Thursday at 8 a.m. until the time of his funeral Mass.
Shannon was born in Welsh to Berlin “Bill” Corbello Jr. and Ramona H. Corbello on April 18, 1974. He was the owner and operator of Shannon’s Electric, LLC, and enjoyed having his own business. He loved to hunt and would have his trophies mounted. He loved all of his animals. Shannon was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Shannon is survived by his wife, Tina Diehl Corbello of Roanoke; one son, Corey Johnson of Roanoke; one stepdaughter, Hali Marceaux of Jennings; his father, Berlin “Bill” Corbello Jr. and stepmother, Dianne, of El Campo, Texas; his mother, Ramona Hebert Corbello of Jennings; one sister, Rebecca (Denis) Brady of Hineston; two stepbrothers, Erick (Inez) Moller of El Campo, Texas, and Lamar (Nicole) Moller of Welsh; one stepsister, Marnie Moller of El Campo, Texas; three nieces, Courtney (Brian) Landry, Summer Crader and Brittney Mott; three nephews, Hunter Crader, Trenton and Stewart Mott; one great-niece, Karissa Landry; one great-nephew, Kamron Landry; and numerous friends that he held dear to his heart.
Shannon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Widness and Verly Hebert, Berlin Corbello Sr. and Verna Corbello.
Carrying Shannon to his eternal resting place will be Corey Johnson, Hunter Crader, Brian Landry, Denis Brady, Web Mott and Ron Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Brennen Courville, Steward Mott, Rocky Pitre, Trenton Mott and Randall Corbello.
