Ramble On

Dear Editor,

Well I’m asking you if you have ever been to an auction.

My friend attended one approximately three hundred miles away from home.

As the sale became hotter and the ramblings of the auctioneer were constantly a rambling rose type of venture that caused my friend to buy a bulldozer at a fair price.

He then transported this machine to his shop in Louisiana and was proud of his venture. He later found out this item was not supposed to have been auctioned off.

Upon being approached by the real owner, he did get his money back less the transportation costs.

Our President seems to have auctioned off our energy sales to the point our fuel oils are priced higher and higher. This rise in prices can be evidenced at the pump when we fill up our vehicles.

It seems his view of energy is not what we, as working class folks, have experienced. His idea of “Green no matter how high the price” does not mesh with our needing to have ends meet or our desire to provide for our families without hand outs.

A Christmas tree is one of bright lights and it usually sits on a cotton cloth with presents sums up his knowledge of oil fields.

He wishes to auction off our known energy supplies and rely instead on unlimited sunlight and a wind that blows so hard so as not to hear. There are other means of aquiring comfort seems to be his view.

Never with dirty hands or a tune of rambling rose that we the taxpayers are paying for his limited experience in energy, armed forces, Red Cross, or callous hands on Chicago streets with food stamps.

Constant rambling will buy wrong items.

(ramble on)
