Betty Sue White
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Sue White, 62, were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014, in David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary. Rev. Irving Mouton, pastor of Whites Temple, officiated. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery, under the direction of Semien-Lewis mortuary of Jennings. Visitation was held from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel.
Mrs. White entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 26, 2014, in a Lafayette hospital.
She was a member of Whites Temple COGIC.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Alfred Lee White of Jennings; two daughters, Anna (Tracy) Pickett and Yolanda Henry of Jennings; four sons, Alfred (Tonya) White, Timothy (Trulena) White, Houston, Devon (Trena) White and Tonney (Stacy) White, all of Jennings; six brothers, Wayne Wilridge of Carencro, Edward Nixon, Joe (Laura) Nixon, Bradson Lehman and Lee Allison Bias, all of Jennings, and Frank Lehman, of Kinder; six sisters, Willie Bell George of Lake Charles, Odile (Oris) Williams of Abberville, Mathilda Whiting of Beaumont, Texas, Cecelia (Freddie) Byers and Beatrice (Alfred) Zackery, both of Jennings; four stepdaughters, Joyce Edwards of Jennings, Donetta Coleman of Lake Charles, Yokeisha Coleman of San Francisco, Calif., and Shantell Hogan of New Iberia; one stepson, Kevin (Cozette) Stewart of Jennings; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
