JDP, local volunteers honored for Relay for Life contributions

Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) has been named a top Relay for Life supporter in the state and several locals were honored for their contribution to the event at a recent awards banquet in Lafayette.
Brandon Touchet of the American Cancer Society (ACS) said that at a Feb. 4 awards event at the Crown Plaza in Lafayette, JDP received three awards in recognition of last year’s work with the parish’s annual Relay for Life.
