Shooting Club welcomes banner turnout

The Jeff Davis 4-H firearms safety meeting welcomed over 50 new members to the Shooting Club. Four-H members from all over the parish attended the meeting to sign up for this year’s club, where they will learn all about firearm safety, marksmanship and archery.

Homecoming 2016

The Jennings community rallied for the Bulldogs’ homecoming parade on Main Street Friday.

While preparing to attack the Rosepine Eagles, Lake Arthur Tigers enjoyed homecoming week fun. Thursday evening, the community enjoyed a bonfire while Friday morning at Lake Arthur Elementary, students had their own block party where they danced and played ahead of that night’s football.
