By DYLAN BROSSETTE Daily News Sports Editor A touchdown and two-point conversion with 36 seconds left by sophomore runningback Travis Etienne in Thursday’s Lafayette Kiwanis Club Jamboree lifted the Jennings High School Bulldogs from a sure 21-13 defeat to tie the 5A Lafayette High Mighty Lions at 21-21.

All four area teams will be in action tonight for their final tune-up games of the summer. Welsh, Lake Arthur and Elton all square off at the Jeff Davis Jamboree held at Elton High School. Jennings will travel to Lafayette to battle with the 5A Lafayette High Mighty Lions at Clark Field.
