| Comeaux-Abshire (05-22-2009)  Christie Comeaux and Cory Abshire, both of Mermentau Cove, announce their plans to wed at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2009 at American Legion Hall in Crowley. The bride-elect is the daughter of Dinah Comeaux of Jennings and the late Denny Comeaux. She is the granddaughter of Ella Jane Trahan of Welsh, the late Harold Trahan, Ruby Comeaux of Jennings and the late Rufus Comeaux. A graduate of Midland High School and Remington College, she is currently employed by CACC. The prospective groom is the son of Linda Abshire of Crowley and the late Tony Abshire. He is the grandson of the late Alex and Ella Monceaux, the late Murphy and Sis Boullion, Ogden Abshire of Moss Bluff and the late Nin Abshire. He is a graduate of Rayne High School and LSU. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at American Legion Hall in Crowley. |
