| Mott-Powell (06-21-2009)  Erin Michelle Mott of Welsh and Casey John Powell of Creole announce their plans to wed at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2009, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles. The bride-elect is the daughter of Keith Mott and Barbara Guillory Mott, both of Welsh. She is the granddaughter of Claude Mott Jr. of Opelousas, Lynn and Dot Myers of Jennings and Charles Willie and Esther Mae Guillory of Welsh. A 2001 graduate of Welsh High School and a 2003 graduate of Stage One Cosmetology Institute in Lake Charles, she is currently self-employed at Salon Cache’ in Welsh. The prospective groom is the son of Tap Powell of Valdese, N.C., and Jackie Kelley of Grand Lake. He is the grandson of Tillman Powell of Hickory, N.C., Nancy Monger of Richmond, Va., Eunice Conner of Creole and the late Willie Conner. A 1998 graduate of South Cameron High School and a 2002 graduate of Sowela Technical College in Lake Charles, he is currently an Information Technology Specialist at Cameron State Bank. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at Ballroom of Charleston in Lake Charles. |
