| Darbonne-Manuel (10-04-2009)  Shana Darbonne of Sulphur and Brent Manuel, both of Jennings announce their plans to wed at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn (Tara) Louvier Jinks and Terry Darbonne, and the granddaughter of Annette and Mike Navarre, all of Sulphur. Shana graduated in 2003 from Sulphur High School and 2004 from Stage One in Lake Charles, and is currently employed as a cosmetologist at Strandz in Moss Bluff. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Melinda) Manuel of Hathaway and Mr. and Mrs. Guy (Mona) Simmons of Borger, Texas. He is the stepgrandson of Henry Myers, Jr. of Hathaway, the late Dorothy “Dot” Myers, the late Amos and Eliza Manuel, Anna Bell Doucet of Westlake and the late Milton Doucet. Brent graduated in 1999 from Westlake High School and 2004 from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business, and is currently employed at Capital One in Jennings as a personal banker. |
