<p>The Zigler Art Museum (ZAM) has announced the opening date for its latest exhibition, “The Red River Artists Flow South”.</p>
<p>The exhibit includes eight artists from North Louisiana who have exhibited at the museum in the past 26 years. The artists include Susan Breeland, Jeanie Clarkson, Lee Estes, Marlene Gremillion, Rose Ann Holoman, Marcia Nelson, Joseph Anthony Pearson and Betty Robertson. Some of the artists’ works will also be up for sale during the exhibit. There will also be a special folk art quilt on display by Georgiann Potts.</p>

<p>An “Average Flag Football Tournament” was recently held at Peters Street Park in Jennings and saw multiple teams throughout the area take the field for a fun time.</p>
<p>Hosted by local residents Doug Matthews, Bryce Jenkins and Marvin Williams, the event was “an attempt to bring some activity and positivity to the community,” said volunteer Terry Simon Jr., who reported that the event was quite positive.</p>
