Two die in weekend fatalities

Two separate motorcycle crashes claimed the lives of local people over the July 4 weekend, including a Lake Arthur woman.
Louisiana State Police (LSP) reported that Celeste Marie Landry, 24, was traveling east along La. 14 north of Bell City on Friday when she lost control and struck a tree. Landry was transported to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital were she was pronounced dead.
