Just in time for our upcoming Harvest Edition, the Jennings Daily News is searching for “Photos from the Farm” to include in this month’s special section. Photos can include anything farm-related: grandkids riding tractors; farm animals posing for the perfect picture; farmers working in the fields, etc. Simply be creative and submit “Photos from the Farm” by email to jdneditor@bellsouth.net or by mail to P.O. Box 910, Jennings, LA 70546. Be sure to include a brief description of the picture, along with the name and contact phone number of the photographer. Deadline to submit is Monday, July 13. Theresa Lyons of Lake Arthur recently photographed this tractor kicking up more than its share of dust due to extremely dry conditions.
