Rosie becoming ‘the face of Jeff Davis Parish’

The second annual Roastin’ with Rosie Barbeque Festival, set for the Grand Marais Courtyard and Pavilion in Jennings from Friday, Sept. 11 to Saturday, Sept. 12, is expected to draw quite the crowd this year.
In fact, festival organizers are hoping to double last year’s number of 3,100 paid admissions – a total still impressive considering the inaugural festival took place just seven days after Hurricane Ike tore through Southwest Louisiana.
