One of two suspects arrested for attempted murder last Wednesday was released from city jail Friday after posting his $75,000 bond.
Jennings residents Jermaine Pattum, 18, of Bryan Street, and Jordan Provost, 17, of Snow Drive are facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery for allegedly robbing a local man of $20, then firing two shots at the victim. Despite a single gunshot wound to the arm and neck, the victim survived his injuries. Motive for the crime, which occurred at the corner of Spencer and South Main streets, was determined to be drug-related.
