Hathaway native Amber Comeaux will travel throughout the state for the next 12 months to promote Southwest Louisiana’s top crop – rice. Comeaux, who represented the Evangeline Oil and Gas Festival, was crowned the 73rd Rice Festival Queen during the annual Rice Festival held in Crowley last weekend.
