Welsh Coming Home Festival finishes strong after rainy start

WELSH – Rotary Club members here said they achieved exactly what they wanted with this past weekend’s Coming Home Festival, even when it looked like the weather was not going to cooperate.
Festival Chairman Jay Fear said that while Rotary hoped the festival would make at least a little money, its main focus was to get people to fill the streets of Welsh to hear good music, eat great food and have a fantastic time. Fear reported on Monday that the revived event was able to do all of these things.
