Rosary collection to be on display

Devotion to the rosary has always been important to Estelle Monic of Evangeline. That devotion has been evident to friends and family, as she has continued to receive them as gifts for many years. Those gifts will be on display this weekend as Monic hosts a special event Saturday at the St. Mary’s Center on State Street in Jennings. Her large antique and vintage rosary collection, along with a special rosary given by Pope John Paul II, will be available for open-house viewing during the event from 2-6:30 p.m.
