Jury, JDSO seek medical cost cuts

Jeff Davis Parish officials are “brainstorming” new ways to keep medical costs down in the parish jail after those costs have seen recent spikes.
At Wednesday’s agenda meeting, the Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury President Donald Woods said jurors and Sheriff Ricky Edwards are working together to try to solve the problem.
