Giles: Lake Arthur should construct heliport

LAKE ARTHUR – After having three air-lifted medical calls in just one week, the mayor here said it’s about time for a heliport in town.
“Instead of Acadian AirMed having to drop down here and there, we can have a place for them to land,” explained Giles. “Its not safe for the people of the town or the pilots to have to land just anywhere with all of the oak trees and everything, especially here at night.”
