Burned dog makes full recovery, gets new lease on life

“Through it all, she never lost that light in her eyes,” Animal Relief Foundation (ARF) member Donna Fontenot said of Chance, a stray black Labrador retriever that was doused in lighter fluid and set on fire by a Welsh man last October. After three months of receiving daily burn treatments at a Lake Charles veterinary clinic, Chance was allowed to finally meet her new family Monday.
