Midland one win away from Boys Top 28

MIDLAND – The Class B Midland Rebels are the last local boys basketball team still alive in the state playoffs, as they will be facing the Hornbeck Hornets Friday night in the quarterfinal round for a chance to make a return trip to the Boys Top 28 Tournament at the Lafayette Cajundome. The Rebels made their last trip to the Top 28 in 2004.
“We are excited about this opportunity,” said Midland Head Coach Todd Briley. “We are healthy and ready to go.”
