| Fuselier-Boudreaux (07-01-2008) ![]() Elizabeth Myde Fuselier and Mark Edward Boudreaux Jr., both of Youngsville, were married at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, in Santa Rosa, Fla., with Reverend Daniel Tarrance officiating. The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Rebecca Fuselier of Mamou. She is the granddaughter of Johnny and Betty Pommier of Mamou and the late Allen and Lucille Fuselier. The groom is the son of Mark and Lynzie Boudreaux of Welsh. He is the grandson of Lucill Boudreaux of Welsh, the late Lloyd Boudreaux, Phyllis Whitener of Kirbyille, Texas, and Rolland McCown of Welsh. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin pick-up gown with a V-neck halter-top and a green ribbon waist accent. She carried a bouquet of confetti roses. Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Amy Rizzuto of Youngsville. Best man was Jared Dennis of Jennings. Flower girls were the bride’s nieces, Jillian Rizzuto and Madeline Fuselier. Ring bearer was the bride’s nephew, Joseph Rizzuto. The wedding party gathered at sunset on the white sand beach of Santa Rosa Island near the breaking waves of clear, blue-green water. The bride was escorted by her father down a palm-lined path through sparkling sand covered lightly with flower petals spread by her nieces, Jillian and Madeline. The couple was joined beneath an arbor of bamboo, tulle and tropical flowers. As the sun fell beneath the waters, vows were exchanged and the marriage was performed. After the marriage, the wedding party tossed stones into the waves representing well wishes. The families then enjoyed a private dinner at Hemmingway Restaurant. A reception honoring the couple will be held June 28 at the Mamou Teen Center in Mamou. Following a honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside in Youngsville. |
