Patricia Ann Griffith of Jennings and Percy Joseph Langley Jr., of Iowa were married at a 4 p.m. garden ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at the home of the bride’s brother, Patrick Griffith. Debbie Abshire, justice of the peace, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hanno and Sally Griffith and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Griffith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Monger.
She is currently employed by Jennings Internal Medicine Associates.
The groom is the son of Mr. Percy Joseph Langley Sr., and Ms. Ollie Langley, both of Iowa, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Langley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roman Bushnell.
He is currently employed by Key Energy Services.
Escorted by her brother and her father, the bride wore an Antonio Melani knee-length A-line sheath dress with a round collar accented with sequins in a pale champagne silk blend.
Isabella Griffith of Lake Charles, niece of the bride, served as maid of honor and Mazie Breaux of Jennings, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Best Man was Sam Langley of New Iberia, brother of the groom.
Groomsman was Nocona Neely of Jennings, nephew of the bride.
Ringbearer was Kendyl Breaux of Jennings, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Conference Center in Jennings. Following a honeymoon to Arkansas and Mississippi, the couple will reside in Jennings.
