| Robinson/Billodeaux (09-09-2008) ![]() Amanda Elizabeth Billodeaux and Jeremy Paul Robinson, both of Lafayette, were married at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Lafayette, with Rev. Jerry Masters and Father Mike Arnaud officiating. The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Ronnie Liles of Jennings and the granddaughter of the late Harold J. Williams and Ethel McMillin of Jennings. She is currently a graduate student at UL-Lafayette majoring in business administration with a concentration in health care. She is seeking a Public Relations degree. The groom is the son of Darlene and Steve Robinson of New Iberia and the grandson of the late Bill Heard, Pat Heard of Jennings and Mr. and Mrs. Lester J. Romero of New Iberia. He is currently an oil and gas landman for Orbit Energy and is seeking a Finance degree from UL-Lafayette. Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant gown of ivory silk organza over ivory bridal satin. The satin bodice, which featured a basque waistline with a lace-up back, was embroidered with a scroll design and embellished with seed pearls. The embellished and beaded royal cathedral train fell softly from the waistline with an A-line skirt. Her veil of ivory English illusion complemented her gown. Matron of honor was Allison Reaux of Lafayette. Maid of honor was Kim Andrews of Roanoke. Bridesmaids were Katie Broussard, Julie Guidry, Randi Menesses and Ginger Collier, all of Lafayette, and Stephanie Robinson and Katie Robinson, both of New Iberia. Best man was Chris Robinson of Scott. Groomsmen were Daniel Caroll Jr., Christian Falgout, Jason Migues, John LeBlanc, Jeff Simoneaux and Nick Clark, all of Lafayette. Ushers were Stewart Billodeaux of Austin, Texas, and Ben Boudreaux, Brad LeBlanc and Bobby Cook, all of Lafayette. Flower girl was Shelby Collier of Lafayette. Ring bearer was Walker Brassette of Baton Rouge. A reception immediately followed the ceremony at City Club at River Ranch. Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds reside in Lafayette. |
