| Tatum-Benoit (07-29-2009)  Leah DeAnn Tatum of DeRidder and Adam Matthew Benoit of Jennings were married at 6 p.m. on May 30, 2009, at Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Charles, with Rev. Randy Monroe officiating the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Tatum and Daniel and Emma Tatum, all of DeRidder. She is the granddaughter of Violet Tatum of Lake Charles, the late Paul Tatum and Jerry and Jimmy Martin of DeRidder. A graduate of South Beauregard High School in Longville, she attended McNeese State University and is currently a medical student at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. The groom is the son of Graylon and Patricia Buch of Jennings and Mike Benoit of Tucson, Ariz. He is the grandson of Acey Benoit of Jennings, the late Lucille Benoit, the late Alcen and Marie Ardoin, Herbert Buch of Jennings and the late Maurine Buch. A 2000 graduate of Jennings High School, he attended McNeese State University and is currently employed as a financial service representative with State Farm. Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin strapless gown, accented with beading and ivory lace overlay, which flowed into a short train. Her hair, secured into an updo and accented by a single ivory camellia, was draped with a flowing floor-length veil. She wore pearl earrings and a pearl necklace. She carried a bouquet of black magic roses tied into an elegant nosegay. Maid of honor was Brooklyn Cole. Bridesmaids were Kinsley Henderson, Gabby Mann, Jennifer McDaniel, Wendy Benoit and Colleen Kohrs. They wore black satin strapless gowns which flowed into short trains. They wore black beaded earrings and necklaces, and carried bouquets of black magic and ivory roses tied into nosegays. Best man was Josh Benoit. Groomsmen were Luke Buisson, Adam Guinn, Andrew Tatum, Matt Reed, Chase Gary and Stuart Daigle. Ushers were Kevin Moreau, Lance Horner and William Deitch IV. Flower girl was Maddie Mann. Ring bearer was Billy Benoit. A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Prien Lake Park Pavilion. Following a honeymoon trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the newlyweds will reside in Shreveport. |
