Michelle Renae Dunn and Jaron Jerel Guidry, both of Jennings, were married at 7 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2009 at Jennings Church of Christ, with Rev. Clifton LeJeune officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gina and Carroll Dunn of Jennings and the granddaughter of William Dunn of Jennings, the late Fern Dunn, Frances Broussard of Kirbyville, Texas and Elza Rohlfs of Summerville, Texas.
She is a 2009 graduate of Jennings High School.
The groom is the son of Cassandra and Carlton Guidry of Jennings and the grandson of the late Linda Faye, Wilbert Jones Jr., the late Velma Lee Jones and the late Velma and Carlton Guildry Sr.
A 2008 graduate of Jennings High School, he is currently employed with Wright Enrichment in Crowley.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line white gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. The gown was made of soft satin and bridal illusion tulle and accented with lace appliqués, seed beads, bugle beads, sequins and pearls on the sleeves, skirt, hem and down the chapel-length train. Her custom made veil of soft bridal illusion with scattered pearls and crystals was attached to a tiara made of rhinestones, crystals, pearls and beads. She carried a cascade bouquet of large fuschia star gayer lillies, ruscus and stephanotis that was accented with white feathers and crystal sprays.
Maid of honor was Mistis Claytor of Little Rock, Ark.
Bridesmaid was Ashley Guidry of Jennings, sister of the groom.
They wore floor length spagetti strapped fuschia gowns with a black rhinestone broach.
Best man was Nathan LeJeune of Jennings.
Groomsman was Jay Jacquet of Jennings.
Ushers were Matt Touchet and Jacob Guinn of Jennings.
Flower girl was Jacie Vincent of Jennings.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Jennings Church of Christ.
Following a honeymoon trip to Orlando, Fla., the newlyweds will reside in Jennings.
