Naquin, White to wed

Courtney Jolie White of Jennings and Casey James Naquin of Sulphur announce their plans to wed at 6:30 p.m. on May 5, 2012, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, with Father Charles McMillin officiating.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ron and Debra White and Wanda Benoit White, all of Jennings. She is the granddaughter of Ann White of Jennings, the late Tony White, Clarence Benoit of Jennings and the late Edna Barnabus Benoit.

A 2000 graduate of Jennings High School, she graduated from McNeese State University in 2004 and is currently employed by the Jeff Davis School Board as a teacher.

The prospective groom is the son of James and Wanda Naquin of Sulphur and the grandson of Mabel Trahan of Sulphur, the late Louis Trahan, Ron and Betty Brown of Lindsburg, Kan., the late Virgil Welch and the late Edward Naquin.

A 2003 graduate of Sulphur High School, he graduated from LSU-Shreveport in 2010 and is the owner of Black Diamond Flooring.

A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the Multi-Purpose Building.
