Stop The Hate and Bigotry

Dear Editor,

To Jeff Davis Parish voters:

This letter is to the 14 percent of voters who changed their party so that they wouldn’t have to vote for an African American. He didn’t need your vote in 2008 and it didn’t matter in 2012.

To the people who didn’t vote at all, your vote didn’t matter at all. If you knew better, you’d do better.

If race would not played a role in this election, Mitt Romney would have won. But the unjust do not prosper or gain. He does not care about the 47 percent.

I am the voter who stands in the 47 percent. Let our president lead this country in the right direction. Stop the hate and bigotry – all haters! Your children and grandchildren and so on would be better off.

I did not vote for President Obama because he is black. I voted for him because he is fair and just. President Obama knows how to run this country.

Pamala Jones

The 47 percent
