Funding approved for city hall project

The state has approved up to $7 million in bonds to be used for plans to relocate city hall and reorganize several other departments.

On March 21, the Louisiana State Bond Commission approved over $202 million for projects statewide, according to State Treasurer John Kennedy. The City of Jennings was approved to borrow up to $7 million in Public Improvement Sales Tax Revenue Bonds for capital improvements to public buildings.
