JHS tennis team records more wins

The Jennings High School tennis team saw more success this week, as they visited Notre Dame Tuesday and tied their hosts with 10 wins and 10 losses.

Jennings won six of 10 matches in girls’ play. In singles, it was Kate Hollier over Natalee Benson, 8-6; Courtney Broussard over Margaret Beslin, 8-2; Brianna Owers over Julia Schmid, 8-5; and Alison Benoit over Kelsey McDaniel, 8-1, for Jennings. The girl’s doubles wins for the Lady Dogs were Katelyn Miller and Gabby Juneau over Lizzie Robichaux and Hunter Guidry, 8-2; and Lea Daigle and Bethany Watkins over Claire Hebert and Sophia Cramer, 8-3.
