Fire department to flow hydrants

Assistant Editor

Jennings residents might find their tap water slightly discolored for a few days, but it’s no cause for alarm, said Jennings Fire Chief Hulin Theriot.

The Jennings Fire Department will be flowing its fire hydrants, a process that keeps them in top shape; helps the city maintain its fire rating; and helps to flush city water lines. The flowing started today, Thursday.
