Dear Editor,

Paranoia set in as I was humiliated by having a small pocket knife upon entering the court house.

I was wondering also whether if you displayed too much cash upon entering taxes would rise out of this mist.

I received a sermon about safety and had to travel a block back to stash my pocket knife in my truck.

I’ve resided in this parish quite a few years and have never in my lifetime seen or read of a killing in this “mansion”.

I really don’t know who is worth this retaliation residing here.

Airlines, buses, taxis, and commercial trucks do not require this embarrassment.

A sheriff’s office is one door away and they are armed and will take a message of good morning and would stop any mad taxpayer with weapons of mass destruction.

The blue bonnets are blooming in Texas, but please don’t shoot or cut them.
