JHS sends off 117 new alumni

The Jennings High School (JHS) Class of 2013 sent off 117 new alumni out into the world Tuesday night at Jerry Simmons Stadium during the school’s 110th commencement exercise.

Friends and family were in attendance as graduating seniors began the next chapter of their lives.

The graduates selected maroon and white as their class colors, while picking red and white roses as their class flowers. The class motto was: “Life brings tears, smiles and memories. The tears dry, the smiles fade, but the memories last forever.” The class song was “Say Goodbye,” by Boyz II Men.
