Students Support Pound Puppies

Lake Arthur Elementary School students gave up their snack money for a few days this week to donate it to a worthy cause – to help rescue pound puppies. Students raised $190 in three days and presented the donation to non-profit organization Animal Relief Foundation (ARF). The students also helped to name a puppy recently rescued by the group. The dog’s name is now “Sparkles” and can be adopted by calling (337) 368-6399. Donations can also be mailed to ARF at 23030 Chaisson Lane, Jennings, LA 70546.
