Clayton applauded for service to JDP education

After nearly 33 years in education, Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) Superintendent of Schools David Clayton ended his career with a standing ovation Thursday.

All School Board members accepted a resolution of recognition for Clayton’s “loyalty, leadership and dedication” to JDP education and many shared major compliments for the man who has served as superintendent during a time when Louisiana education underwent major challenges and reform.
