Synthetic marijuana arrest made

CROWLEY – Eighty packs of synthetic marijuana are now off the street as a result of a traffic stop in Acadia Parish last week.

Narcotics agents with the Crowley Police Department stopped a vehicle being driven by Matthew Adams, 19, of Rayne on East Elm Street in Crowley.

“During the investigation, officers obtained permission to search the vehicle driven by Adams,” explained Chief K.P. Gibson. “During the search, 80 packs of synthetic marijuana and one gram of cocaine were located within the vehicle.”
