LeBlanc to seek re-election to city council

Jennings City Council District D incumbent Anthony “Coach” LeBlanc announced his intentions to seek re-election in the Saturday, Oct. 13, primary election.

He released the following statement to his constituents:

“My name is Anthony Philip LeBlanc, Jr. I was born and reared in Jennings to the late Philip and Jeanie LeBlanc. I attended school at James Ward Elementary and graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. I am a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. As an educator, I have worked with the Jeff Davis Parish school system for the past 30 years on the junior high level as a teacher and coach.
