Battery Check

As Daylight Savings Time ended this morning, people not only went to work changing the time on their clocks, but hopefully also placed fresh batteries in their smoke detectors. Jennings Fire Department Operator Daniel Hanks made sure to change the batteries in the department’s own smoke detectors as well and reminded the public that the batteries should be changed every six months to ensure safety in homes and businesses.
