In The Spotlight

Jennings High School’s theatre class took second place in a recent district competition at LSUE with its play “How to Get Rid of a Housemother.” The group will now compete at the state level on April 5. Students also received rave reviews, which included Lauren Lister taking Best Supporting Role; Tessa Glaud being recognized as Superior in interpretive reading; and Mallory Petry taking home Best Actress. The cast also includes Janee’ Charles, Christian Clement, Alycee Harris, Brooklyn Gaspard, Brooke Trahan, Rose Orgeron and Rachelle Edwards, and crew members are Deon’Janae Lewis, Haley Wimberly, Autumn Bouley, Kylie Hanks and Devyn Ardoin.
