Lake Arthur teen represents La. youth in legislature

The Louisiana Legislative Youth Advisory Council (LYAC) is a group of students who represent the voice of the area youth in the state. Council members are selected from state applicants who display a strong interest in civic involvement. The council is made up of 21 students from all across the state, including two student members selected from each of the six congressional districts and nine at-large members.
