Representatives from governor’s office to visit parish

Staff members of Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards’ office will be visiting the citizens of Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) next week in an effort to learn more about the needs of the people.

The visit is part of a new initiative, Constituent Services on the Geaux, to meet with constituents face to face while offering assistance with questions and concerns relative to state government, such as child support, flagged driver’s licenses, veteran’s affairs and other state agency related concerns. Constituent Services on the Geaux is scheduled to visit each of the 64 parish in the state through the 2017-18 year.
