Kennedy, Marshall introduce bill to ban abortion providers from PPP participation

WASHINGTON – Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) on Tuesday joined Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) and more than 20 Republican senators in introducing the Abortion Providers Loan Elimination Act, which would explicitly prohibit abortion providers, like Planned Parenthood, from receiving Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans.

The No. 23 Jennings Bulldogs fought their way into the second round of the Class 3A playoffs here at Bulldog Diamond Tuesday night with a close, 2-1 victory over the Union Parish Farmers. The Bulldogs will now hit the road to square-off with No. 7 Brusly in a best-of-three series begining on Friday evening.

Most who voted in favor of beekeeping program

HATHAWAY - Though there have been some issues regarding who participated in a survey, the superintendent of schools said it seems more than half of those here who responded to the poll are in favor of hosting a beekeeping program on the high school campus.
