On Friday, June 12, at 6 p.m. James O. Hall Post 19 of the American Legion from Jennings will host a Flag Retirement Ceremony in the adjacent lot west of their American Legion Hall located at 111 N. Market Street in Jennings. Worn and tattered American flags will be retired in a dignified and legal manner in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code and American Legion Regulations. Anyone wishing to dispose of worn United States flags may bring them to the ceremony.
After all activities came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the Jeff Davis Riders Club (JDRC) are gearing up to get back in the saddle.
