NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Saints coach Dennis Allen expects to keep his job after New Orleans improved by two victories, finished with a winning record and missed the playoffs by the narrowest of margins.

The Cards claimed the victory after a strong second half push picking up an 18-point victory over the Raiders with a final score of 76-58. The win brings the Cards up to 26-1 while the Raiders drop 9-11.
LAKE ARTHUR — It was a battle of the Tigers Thursday night as the Lake Arthur High Tigers hosted the Oberlin High Tigers in a non-district competition at Nooky Moore Gymnasium. In an overwhelming sweep, the Lake Arthur Tigers dominated the hardwood for the entirety of the game and secured the win with a final score of 91-25.
LAKE ARTHUR — The Lake Arthur High Lady Tigers welcomed the Erath High Lady Bobcats Friday night in a nond istrict competition at Nooky Moore Gymnasium. The Lady Tigers dominated the court for the entire game taking the win with a final score of 74-30. The win moves Lake Arthur to 17-4 while Erath drops to 7-5.
OXFORD, Miss. — Mikaylah Williams paced LSU with 20 points to lead the Tigers to a win in their first road SEC game of the year at Ole Miss, 84-73, in the SJB Pavilion saw a record 9,074 on hand at Sunday’s game.
WELSH — The Welsh Greyhounds claimed a big Jeff Davis Parish win Thursday night when they took down the Jennings Bulldogs by a final of 67-58 a t Greyhound Gymnasium. The Hounds moved to 8-8 overall on the season with the win, while the Bulldogs dropped to 10-5 with the loss. The Hounds were trailing heading into the final stanza of play, however the hosts outscored Jennings 26-15 down the stretch to give themselves a nine-point win. J.J. Artis had the hot hand for the Hounds Thursday night, as he poured in a gamehigh 24 points on the night.
